At Otto’s
The perfect family restaurant. A lovely terrace in the summer, delicious Italo-Mediterranean cuisine, fresh ingredients, attentive service for the kids, great wine — in short, we always have amazing evenings there, just the four of us with my children.
Pantagruel Bookstore
This bookstore, run by a team of passionate and committed women, delights both young and old. For adults, there’s Pantagruel, the historic location, and just around the corner, Le Petit Pantagruel, dedicated to children and teenagers.
Heading out to sea
The boat trip is the experience I recommend without hesitation. Discovering Marseille from the sea promises a magical moment. Whether you’re heading towards the calanques or the Côte Bleue, everything is breathtaking. The return at night is pure magic.

House of Pain
Not just the best bakery in Marseille, but the best in the world in my eyes! Every morning, my sons and I walk past it. It’s hard to resist the enchanting smell of freshly baked croissants or sourdough bread, crafted with passion and artisanal expertise, following traditional methods!
Provisions
A charming place that brings together my three favorite activities: eating, drinking, and browsing books. There’s an incredible selection of children’s books, local wines, and an irresistible gourmet deli… You can even have lunch there, linger a while… and forget to leave…
Marseilleveyre
With my sons, we love starting from Callelongue to hike up to Marseilleveyre along the seaside trail. This hike with kids is accessible, stunning, and ends with a great beach. And the cherry on top: the famous Bolognese pasta at Le Belge right at the finish.

Boujou
This cozy café by the Corniche serves delicious coffees and a truly indulgent sweet and savory menu. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, thanks to a team that’s always welcoming and smiling.
Librairie Vauban
I love getting lost in the aisles of Vauban Bookstore, always full of unique finds. It’s also a place to share special moments with my daughter, thanks to their fantastic creative and musical workshops offered on weekends.
La côte bleue
The Côte Bleue is my favorite spot for a getaway. Still untouched by mass tourism, it’s full of delightful gems: La Pergola, the Niolon ice cream shop, and the beautiful terrace at Villa Madrigal in Carry-le-Rouet.

The Suffren
For me, one of the best restaurants in Marseille. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes always perfectly balanced, and the team is warm and welcoming. All this in a lovely, sunny, and peaceful square in the charming antiques district.
Plage du prophète
A true Marseille classic. I love seeing the volleyball courts lined up and the kids splashing along the pier… An easily accessible beach, perfect for an impromptu family or friends picnic at the end of the day.
Père Blaize
Tucked away in the Noailles neighborhood, this pharmacy-herbalist shop feels frozen in time. People come here to treat a cold or ease temporary stress, leaving with natural remedies in old-fashioned apothecary bottles.
